We will make every effort to accommodate walk-in customers, but making an appointment with us may sometimes be necessary due to availability of an on-duty immunizing pharmacist.

Seasonal Flu Shots

Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death. Every flu season is different, and influenza infection can affect people differently. Even healthy people can get very sick from the flu and spread it to others. An annual seasonal flu vaccine is the best way to reduce the chances that you will get seasonal flu and lessen the chance that you will spread it to others.

Immunization Requirements:

  1. You must be an adult or an adolescent 10 years and older.
  2. You should not have an active infection or be on any antibiotics.
  3. You should not be allergic to eggs, thimerosal, gentamicin or other aminoglycosides.
  4. Pregnant women must have a written prescription from their doctor.

If you have any questions, please ask your Doc's pharmacist. If Medicare B is your primary insurer, bring your insurance card as the influenza and pneumonia vaccines are covered at no charge.
